Will Pearson hails from a town of 1,000 people in southern Georgia, and has lived in San Francisco for six years. During school, Will developed a passion for all things Latin American, and lived in Mexico during most of his vacations and breaks from school. After graduating with a degree in Spanish and Hispanic Studies from Earlham College in 2004, Will served as a member of the United States Peace Corps in China teaching English as a second language near the Mongolia-China border. Upon returning stateside, Will initially worked in various management roles at Washington Mutual Bank in San Francisco.
Prior to joining Robert Jobe’s law office as a paralegal, Will worked as a law clerk for two and a half years at the San Francisco Public Defender, where he became interested in public interest law. Will’s experiences at the San Francisco Public Defender led him to work with various Superior Court judges, San Francisco prosecutors, as well as police officers and defense counsel. What Will witnessed regarding how our nation and criminal court systems treated immigrants made him seek out Robert Jobe’s office in order to better help our immigrant communities. As the descendant of impoverished Scottish immigrants who eventually created his hometown through hard work and dedication, Will found it all the more vital to continue fighting for immigrants who give so much to our communities.
Will is a paralegal at the firm.
